safeguarding policyLRBC Kids
We don’t view children as the church of the future, they’re a vital part of LRBC today. We’ve got loads of things for them to join in with.
The Church is committed to following safe practice in it dealings with children, young people and vulnerable adults. It has therefore adopted the guidelines and procedures published by the Baptist Union of Great Britain in its publication Safe to Grow.
As part of that commitment the Church has appointed a children’s advocate, Bill Graham. We ensure that all our children’s and young people’s workers have Enhanced Disclosures from Criminal Records Bureau undertaken by the Church.
