Cameo started out over 50 years ago as The Women's Guild, and today about 30 women meet on Tuesday afternoons at the Church at 2.30pm.
Much has happened since The Women's Guild was first formed and it has extended well beyond being just a "Tuesday afternoon" meeting, as members
have given of their service to the Lord. During the year they have a wide range of speakers talking on a variety of subjects.

    * They have given of their time as they have led meetings elsewhere and organised The Baptist Women's Day of Prayer.
    * They have given of their talents, knitting vests and blankets for ECHO and also hats and gloves for the annual Samaritan's Purse Shoe Box appeal.
    * They have given of their tithes, donating money to those in need throughout the world.
    * They have welcomed the support of the Church and, in turn, have supported many of the big events in the Church's life but, above all they have never lost sight of their original aim of outreach.

From the fellowship of the Tuesday afternoons have come the more informal, social occasions such as a Christmas lunch, and during the summer months outings and the more informal  tea and cake afternoons at the Church.
